Summer has begun, the real heat has arrived, and we are all eager to travel after the year that is behind us. Of course, safety is still our number one priority, and the Croatian National Tourist Board has placed emphasis on this aspect of your trip.
Labels “Safe stay in Croatia” on catering facilities, but also hotels and houses, and holiday apartments indicate that these areas are maintained in accordance with epidemiological measures, and that the staff of the facility is vaccinated.
Although the nightclubs are closed, there is no lack of outdoor entertainment. Restaurants and bars are open until midnight, the gastronomic offer is diverse, there is a choice for every taste. At the same time, numerous open-air concerts are planned for this summer, both in the city of Split and in its immediate surroundings.
If you want to spend your vacation outside the city center, you can always choose holiday homes in the Dalmatian hinterland, only 20 minutes away from the city of Split or on one of the islands. Of course, coming to Dalmatia would not be at all interesting without visiting the Dalmatian islands, their hidden coves with incredibly clear sea. We are not exaggerating, because our sea is on the list of the five cleanest seas in Europe. You can bathe in it without fear if you choose a tour by fast boat with which you can visit the famous Blue Cave on the island of Biševo near the island of Vis.
A real treat is to come to this location, and as soon as you enter it you will know why this cave got its recognizable name. On the island of Vis, which has been closed to tourists for many years, you can still find untouched natural beauty. One of them is certainly Stiniva beach, another location of this fast boat tour. It is known for its entrance among the high rocks that rise from the sea, and the beach itself can only be reached by a small boat.

No less valuable is a visit to the beautiful island and town of Hvar, the sunniest island in Dalmatia where there is an ancient town full of history, with a rich gastronomic offer and bars where you can look for pleasant shade and refreshment. We suggest visiting; Fortress Fortica, and the Hvar Cathedral, but also the Hvar Theater founded in 1612.
